About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Engineer with a strong background in electronics and defence systems. The role combines technical expertise with business development skills, enabling the candidate to pitch, position, and sell advanced electronic solutions (EW, RF, surveillance, drones) to defence and aerospace clients. The ideal candidate will have proven sales records, excellent articulation in both English and Hindi, and deep familiarity with defence procurement processes, RFPs, RFIs, and related terms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities in defence and aerospace sectors.
  • Pitch and present company products (EW, RF, surveillance, drones) to clients with strong technical articulation.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Track and respond to defence procurement plans, RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to align product capabilities with client needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with defence procurement agencies, OEMs, and key stakeholders.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to management.
  • Document sales activities, pipeline, and customer feedback for continuous improvement.

Required Qualification & Experience

  • B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales/business development in defence and aerospace industry.
  • Strong understanding of electronic systems, RF technologies, and defence applications.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in technical domains.
  • Familiarity with defence procurement cycles, RFP/RFI processes, and government tendering norms.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and articulation skills in English and Hindi.
  • Strong technical sales acumen with ability to bridge engineering and business.
  • Customer focused attitude with professional conduct.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
