

About the role
Experienced personnel with demonstratedtechnical capabilities in unmanned aerial systems, control system design anddevelopment. Strong understanding of electronic communications and control loopprogramming related to Unmanned systems. Strong foundation in electroniccontrol system design, Control Algorithm, PID, wired/wireless communications inremote operated / guided vehicles. Should have worked on prototyping ofelectronic components. Demonstrated work experience inembedded system firmware.
Key Responsibilities:
UAS system design, development and testing – all the wayfrom POC, Prototyping to Productization.
Qualifications:
B.E(Pref) in Robotics(preferred)/Electronics.
Certification or course credits in design thinking, PCBdesign will be a plus.
Experience:
3+ yrs in unmanned vehicles and control systems (not Dronesor quad copter alone)
Skills:
1. Hands-on experience with BOM preparation.
2. Thorough understanding of drone look-up and balancing tables.
3. Theoretical and practical experience with calculating thrust, power and SWAP-C based on specifications and requirements.
4. Experience flying a drone in stabilize or manual mode is an added advantage.
5. Good understanding and experience with flight test campaigns.
6. Solid understanding of rapid prototyping processes.
Along with:
programming (C, C++, Python), MATLAB, LUA script, ARDUPILOT,ARDU-PY, MAV PROXY, MAV-PY, Ki-CAD or ALTIUM (PCB Design), Embedded firmware development, ROS, Design thinking.
